NOTICE

The following Rules have been framed for Admission to B. Com. 1st year Honours class (Session 2014-2015) only as per norms determined in the meeting of the Admission Committee held on 02.06.14 at 11.00 a.m. in the Principal’s Room at 13, Surya Sen Street, Kolkata - 700 012, subject to the ratification of the Governing Body :

1.	Admission as per MERIT LIST	:	Preliminary forms will be issued as per following norms On Line June 5 - 12, 2014 and Off Line June 10-17, 2014 from 7 A.M. to 10.30 A.M. at College Office
	(i) Norms : a) Commerce to Commerce	:	Minimum 50% Marks in Aggregate (Best of four) & 45% in subject & Pass Marks in H.S.(10+2) English paper of 100 marks.
	b) Science to Commerce	:	Minimum 55% Marks in Aggregate (Best of four), 45% in Maths (10+2) & Pass Marks in H.S. (10+2) English paper of 100 marks.
	(ii) Dates for submission of Preliminary Froms	:	June 11 to 18, 2014 from 7.00 a.m to 10.30 a.m. at College Office only
2.	Publication of the 1st Merit List	:	26th June, 2014 after 11 a.m.
3.	Commencement of Admission as per Merit List	:	30th June, 2014 till further notice.

Documents to be submitted with application :

• Xerox copies of Marksheet of School - Leaving and Plus Two examinations from permissible Boards and Councils.
• Xerox copies of Admit Cards of the aforesaid examinations.

Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission :

• School Leaving Certificates in original.
• Migration Certificate in Original.
• 4 copies of recent Passport size photographs.

N.B :-

1)	Candidates with Break in Studies are not eligible for Admission.
2)	Admission to SC / ST / Handicapped categories will be made as per existing Government and University rules.
3)	Decision of the Admission Committee is final.
4)	Envs paper can not be taken in best of Four papers.
